2019 P1 Concert

Posted on November 14, 2019

Our littlest boys, the P1s put up a concert for the elders from Yong-En Care Centre, St. Luke’s Elder Home, Pertapis Senior Citizens Fellowship and Sree Narayana Mission Home. Each class prepared a song and dance item, some in English and others in Mandarin. The Malay-language and Tamil-language boys also put up performances in those languages!

As the busses carrying our visitors reached ACS, the elders were delighted to see the little boys lined up to welcome them and lead them up to the Auditorium. As the little ones performed on stage, the elders clapped and bopped their heads along to the music as the volunteer Teacher Aides offered them coffee and tea. You could see that our guests were enjoying themselves watching the cute dances! Some classes even came off the stage and interacted with the guests as part of their routine!

After the performances, the TAs and boys served lunch to the elders, and the boys presented the elders with little handmade cards as tokens of appreciation for making time to come to school! Such acts of service do a lot to teach our boys to always have a willing heart to serve and develop their iHopeful values.

It was a lovely afternoon for our visitors and we hope to see them again next year!
