P1 Picnic
Posted on January 7, 2020
ACSP and the PSG welcomed the new Primary 1 boys and their parents into the ACS family with a fun picnic under the shade of the hall!
The picnic saw the parents from each class sitting together and getting to know each other, while listening to the words of wisdom from the Pastor as he shared parenting tips! Once the boys joined their parents, they opened up the picnic baskets and shared food, laughter and experiences!
The PSG helped each class to play the ACS Drill where the boys and parents first took turns to form the A-C-S letters them did ten together! It was wonderful watching the boys and their parents strategise over how the letters should be formed!
The picnic ended with a vibrant dance performance of the Shark Dance with children performing for their parents, then vice versa and a grand finale with everyone participating!
We hope the P1 picnic has left wonderful memories with both parents and boys, and they will build upon these bonds for their whole ACS journey. As the boys headed back to class, the parents spent some time at the PSG merchandise booth, making sure they have our awesome crest on many of their boys’ belongings!
