Edible Garden

Introducing our school’s new edible garden – a place where learning and growing come together!
The garden is maintained by dedicated Green Ambassadors, teachers, and parent volunteers, who work together to cultivate vegetables and herbs while implementing sustainable practices like composting.
Sharing the goodness – Fresh garden produce (eggplants, spinach, long bean etc) shared with our school community to provide a farm-to-table experience.
Acts of Love

The school, PSG ExCo, and Grassroots Leaders in Moulmein-Cairnhill @ Pek Kio have joined forces to help parents and guardians guide their boys in becoming iHOPEFUL Leaders and active community members.
Through the Values in Action (VIA) programme at ACS(P), students exemplify the school’s core iHOPEFUL values: Integrity, Humility, Obedience, Perseverance, Empathy, Faithfulness, Unity, and Loyalty
Combined Prayer
At ACS(P), joint prayer sessions with other ACS schools nurture students with a holistic education rooted in Christian values, helping them reach their full potential and equipping them with life skills to serve God and nation.
Relation Emphasis Week

Standing together and uniting to support the Christian Ministry for Relation Emphasis Week REW 2024.
Career Awareness Day

On 20th May 2024, ACS(P) celebrated Career Awareness Day, organized by PSG and the CCE department as part of the Education and Career Guidance programme. The event featured interactive sessions by parent volunteers, 15 career booths covering various industries, and a debate on AI’s impact on job security. Pupils gained a better understanding of the importance of lifelong learning, self-awareness, and 21st-century skills.
Sustainability Workshop

Jointly organized by The Circular Classroom (TCC), ACS(P) Science Department & PSG, the Sustainability Workshop brings together 40 boys and parents to create hand-sewn little owls made of ACS(P) pre-loved uniforms.
This creative activity fostered parent-child bonding while promoting sustainable practices, reflecting our school’s commitment to environmental stewardship. Our boys also gained insight on the life cycle of school uniforms, from the extraction of raw materials to production, transportation and distribution through a mobile exhibition – “Circularity in Action: School Uniforms for a Greener Singapore”.
The exhibition was conceptualised by TCC & designed by students of ITE (Institute of Technical Education) Central as part of Go Green SG 2024 initiative. Thank you The Circular Classroom for this lovely collaboration and the engagement of our school community.

Our Edible Garden
The ACS(P) Edible Garden, located within the premises of Anglo-Chinese School (Primary), is a thriving green space that serves as a living classroom for students to learn about sustainable practices, gardening, biodiversity, and the importance of locally sourced produce. This initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability and encourage healthy eating habits among students.
The garden is meticulously maintained by students, teachers, staff, and parent volunteers, collectively known as the ACS(P) Planting Pals, who work together to cultivate a variety of vegetables, fruits, and herbs. From greens to aromatic herbs like basil and rosemary, the garden boasts a diverse range of edible plants that are grown using organic and eco-friendly methods.
Students actively participate in every aspect of the gardening process, from germinating seeds, planting, and watering plants to harvesting ripe produce. Through hands-on experience, they learn valuable lessons about plant life cycles, soil health, and the impact of sustainable agriculture on the environment.
The ACS(P) Edible Garden not only provides fresh, nutritious produce but serves as a peaceful retreat where students can connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the natural world. It stands as a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic education and instilling in students a sense of responsibility towards the environment and their own well-being.
