Happy Founders Day 2026 – ACS (Primary) PSG

Dear ACSians, Parents/Guardians and Friends of the ACS Family,

One hundred and forty years ago, a small seed was planted by Bishop William Fitzjames Oldham – an act of faith that grew into the ACS we cherish today. Its branches now shelter generations of ACSians who learn not only to excel, but to love, to serve, and to stand tall for what is right, to fulfil that vision to be a beacon of truth and light. 

Today, ACSians all over the world gather in spirit to honour that vision and celebrate the fruits of that foundation. You may encounter the annual phenomenon of the school flag / badge taking over social media profile pictures and the ACS anthem being belted out in some restaurants — I may be doing both. 

At ACS (Primary), we are privileged to witness this legacy renewed each day. Our boys learn to pursue excellence with humility, to lead with integrity, and to serve with grateful hearts. These are not merely aspirations, but the lived heritage of a school built on the conviction that every child is precious in the sight of God.

As the Parents Support Group, we stand alongside the school in this shared mission. We give thanks for our dedicated school leaders, teachers and staff, for the steadfast partnership of parents, and for the unity of a community that continues to nurture, encourage, and uplift every boy who walks through our gates.

May this Founders’ Day remind us of the rich heritage we inherit, the responsibilities we bear, and the hope we carry forward. May our sons continue to grow into men of character and courage, and may our community remain united in purpose and our hearts, hopes and aims as one. May every ACSian always let their light shine, not just for his / her own glory but that others who see the good works may give glory to our Heavenly Father.

God save our land and Heaven bless our ACS forever.
